    B)   Co-Chair Report – Mrs. Stapleton/Mrs. Petrella

    -  no new additions to the agenda

    Faith Goal

    -  We are 4 students who were at the Procession of Mary last week

    -  Mass happening every week – maybe we can send the link out to families to join in with the classes

    -  Flock Note – can we get families to register for this? Kelly is going to look into it to see how to do this (emailing Father Paul) Can send Fr. Paul the members of CSC as a starting point

    -  Can we do something for the elders/retirement homes at Christmastime? Jose will get us a list of individuals so we can pair/match them up; Millennium trail, Oakwood park lodge and Lundy manor

Fundraising – suggested possibilities include: Big Reds Meats, Cards in a Box, M&M Meat Days – want to make a choice at our November meeting; possible sub day next month along with pizza day (2 food days a month); M&M Meats Day a possibility – very easy fundraiser done over a couple of days (Cindy will call to look into it)

    C)   Committee Structure / Reports / Updates

    a.   Safe and Accepting Schools – First meeting TBD – concerns – discussion on a request for additional crossing guard at Watson and Beaverdams; want students to be involved as well - Mr. MacDougall possibly writing up a letter to send to the city about it.

    b.   OPACE/NCPIC Update: first Thursday of November is the first meeting

    c.   SEAC Report – update – Mr. MacDougall/Mrs. Pozzobon – nothing to report at this time

    D)   Principal Items

Student Council – Update – Procession of Mary; Triathlon; Morning Show; Sign Board quotes, Faithful Firebird student recognition, etc Student council updating the trophy cases in the school on a monthly basis (displaying student work); student council is involved with more going on in the school

CSC By-Laws – Update – if anyone feels that we need to revisit the bylaws or make any revisions, let Mr. MacDougall know

Board Policies – Update – we will receive throughout the year to keep us up to date what is happening at the board and if we have any suggestions regarding the board policies

Food Drives – November - Update – want to collect food at non-peak times; possible food drive in June – Jose asked if there is a way to help get the word of Christ out to the people who we are giving the food to? Maybe have students write a note to put into the bag of food

Food Days – Pizza Day/Sub day – looking into Pita Pit day

Triathlon update – Oct. 29 – possible items to be sold include: popcorn, juice boxes, Glo-in-the-Dark sticks – Mrs. Stapleton to touch base regarding the glow sticks – would have to preorder for the popcorn, juice boxes and glow sticks

Remembrance Day – Captain Polinski to present (November 9th and or 10th) – students will get to submit questions

    ECO – Fall Clean-up – Oct. 23rd – 9:00-10:30 – all are welcome to join

$3380.33 – fundraising – bulk of that came from the food fundraising $3179.46

Pizza $1405; popcorn $1020; other hot food days $753; some triathlon fundraising in there as well

    F)   New Business

    – are we going to do milk orders this year? Go slowly – introduce pizza day, then food days – challenge is how do we distribute milk on a daily basis?

    – Brightspace –Should we be signing up for it? It’ s a way for you to see what’s happening in your child’s class; emails about late arrivals – is this improving? Depends on the given day – morning kiss and ride is smoother

    – can Grade 7 students wear St. Paul uniform pieces? Typically it’s only Grade 8 students

    Next Meeting- November 23

Adjournment – Silia Stapleton, seconded by Maria Elia
