4. Other updates – updates from C. Zanuttini / J. Tolomeo

·  Staff opening in the PM grade 5 class, we will need to hire this position

·  Plant maintenance - work to be done on the exterior of the school to be finished by August 2025

·  The 4th portable was delivered today for the gr. 7 class - fire code, and electrical still to come.

·  Future projects include the theater and the change rooms.

a. Incl. wine fundraiser; Cave Springs Winery - 20-25% back from whatever is sold.

Option for fundraiser is Purdy’s - chocolate company - or World’s Finest Chocolate fundraiser - Co-chairs explained benefits of both

Purse bingo fundraiser will be an option for Jean Michaels - Spring (possibly before mother’s day)

Question - spirit blankets as a fundraiser - and fresh from farm fundraiser -

Co-chairs will make a decision after emailing the council details

 

·  Halloween - the community loved the parade and the day was efficient with the Dance in the gym.

·  Co-chairs - the Santa Claus parade with a table set up for sales - hot chocolate - prices discussed for sales. Concern - cups get too hot. Marshmallows could be an option. Tent can be set up to visual

·  Krispy Kreme fundraiser is also an option -

·  World’s Finest, wine sales, gift card raffle, flip give
