· St. Joseph received Platinum certification for Eco-Schools
· 2nd hydration station was installed – purchased by Catholic School Council
· EQAO – results were posted. Grade 6 results were not posted due to low numbers writing the assessment. They scored 100% at provincial standard. Grade 3 – Math 55% for our school. Provincially the math scores were low. Our grade 6s did well in comparison. Our next step as a school is to look at the data in order to direct our school. Our school improvement framework will focus on math. Wording and communication will be a focus.

5.   FINANCIAL REPORT

The financial report was presented to the members of the Catholic School Council present.

The accounts include the Catholic School Council account, the Nevada account and the E-Bingo account

CSC account - Grad composites were purchased as well as the hydration station.
E Bingo account – deposits were made
Nevada account – $200.00 cheques were made out for each class for end of the year trips.
Nevada accounts and Bingo accounts operate at the same time. Proposals have to be put forward to obtain money from the Nevada account. Nevada is very lucrative. We pay a monthly fee, but we benefit a lot from it.
Our bingo profits have dropped. City of Fort Erie has given us extra bingos to make up for it. Our bingo is always on a Tuesday. We have 2 bingos in October and 2 in November. It was expressed that the EBingo is really easy to work. There is a dress code for bingo. White collared shirt, black pants and a name tag. The importance of Bingo was expressed.

6. COMMITTEE REPORTS

1. Bingo – (Kelly DiLapo). Mrs. MacKenzie has forwarded names of volunteers to Mrs. DiLapo.
- Kelly could not make the meeting. More volunteers are coming forward for Bingo. Bingo requires 2 volunteers from the school at each bingo.
