C. PRINCIPAL’S REPORT
1. Basketball Net install
We will be putting this off for another year, as the cost is roughly $13 000.
2. Purchase of Desks and Chairs
We have begun the process of buying new desks and chairs. We purchased one full class set at a cost of $6000
3. Technology
15 Chromebooks were purchased for $3400
New Bike racks have been ordered.
4. Kindergarten Play Area
The Board is behind in projects. Next year we will begin the process.
5. Intermediate Division Fundraising
Big Box Cards
Graduation is June 20th/ the Americana is booked
6. Open House Feedback
· Parents/Families loved it – particularly how informal it was
· Concern over parking
7. Ideas for Fundraising
· Theme Basket fundraiser (JUNE)
· M & M Meats % of sales
· Calendar (Sell in February for MARCH)
· Krispy Kreme (APRIL/MAY)
8. Christmas Store
· Mrs. Petrella will prepare a letter on behalf of CSC inviting donations from our families
· A Schedule will be set up for Parent Volunteers
· Promotion will occur via School Messenger and Instagram
9. Christmas Musical
· Original play written by Mr. Tham
· Dates are DEC 12/13 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.
· Tickets available on Schoolcash
· VIP seating will be raffled off
10. Christmas
· Joy Day – Friday Dec 1st
· Descendants Play – Dec 6th
· Santa Visit – Dec 14th
· Bus Safety Presentations – Dec 8th
· Kinder Concert – Dec 20th
· Choir to sing at Meadows Retirement Home – Dec 20th
